I'm so close to back on HF. the pipe to mount the antenna on is in the ground, we just didn't want to get too in to the assembly of the antenna right now because we're literally on "any second now" baby watch and it would not be good if we got part way in to it and I had to leave but we got 900 MHz up so I can run the base station now and got the pipe in the ground for the HF vertical. Once the baby's here I'll finish that up, and be on HF again. It's just too much work to get part way done and me leave my crew so we opted to just wait. I've sure missed being on the air, the antennas on the railing worked well when the bands were open but left a lot to be desired if the bands weren't great. I'm having fun again finally after being stuck pretty much on vhf since the end of August.
