It is some while since I looked at N1MM, what are the F-key macros for?

I frequently use N1MM withg JAWS, although I haven't use it for RTTY
contests.

I agree with others; basic functionality works well, although statistics
windows like needed mults and partial dupe sheets do not.

A sighted ham guided me through the very cluttered configurer dialog the
first time. Now that I know how it is presented, I can usually do what I
want on my own. I also initially had trouble with the function key macros
dialog, until I realized that I could export the macros to a text file, make
my changes, then import them once again.

Lloyd,

I use Jaws and looked at N1MM a year or 2 back. Didn't seem like I could
set it up without sighted help, so I let it go.

I've been using Writelog for almost a dozen years with Jaws . The real
problem isn't lack of accessibility, but more the multitude of options and
complexity of setup that can drive even sighted hams nuts.

A few weeks ago, I helped a blind friend of Lou WA3MIX set up Writelog
with Window Eyes, FT-5000, and Microham USB for cw and FSK. Took
several e-mails, and a couple of phone calls, but he got up and running
in time to put 100 Q's in the log for WPX RTTY. The next weekend he
logged over 1000 in the ARRL CW. He didn't bother setting up the .wav files
that Writelog can use to tell you what field you are in, dupes, mults,
error fields, etc., but for use with Jaws, I find the .wav files are
needed.
