I haven't investigated WriteLog at all, but find that N1MM is doing all I
need it to do so far. I may not get into serious tweaking and optimizing of
N1MM and Window-Eyes until after I retire, at some unknown time.

Hi again Lloyd,
Very interesting.
I have discussed the set-up dialog with N1MM et al and they say it would be
a lot of work and incur a real risk of failure to rewrite that part of the
program at this stage.
It is possible to insert the necessary items in the .ini file and perhaps we
could persuade someone to document that aspect rather more thoroughly.
As it happened, following a pointer from Tom, N1MM, I was able to get the
rotator going, though I still have the character blocking issue. I haven't
seriously played with this. I was just messing about, entering callsigns and
watching the figures change as the rotator move (how sad is that!?). I'll
soon have to do this for real and perhaps the act of logging qso's will
clear this up.
In my experience, many of these programs are very complicated and provide an
awful lot of features which are either meaningless to blind people or would
be difficult or impossible to use in real time. As I said earlier, I take
the view that it's more important to get the QSO's in the log, you can worry
about statistics afterwards. That's not how some of these folk work, though.
Well, it's lunch time.
Cheers & 73 for now,
Terry
