How does the Microham work with JFW for the digital modes?

Just bought one new and unused for half price.

Lloyd,

I use Jaws and looked at N1MM a year or 2 back. Didn't seem like I could
set it up without sighted help, so I let it go.

I've been using Writelog for almost a dozen years with Jaws . The real
problem isn't lack of accessibility, but more the multitude of options and
complexity of setup that can drive even sighted hams nuts.

A few weeks ago, I helped a blind friend of Lou WA3MIX set up Writelog
with Window Eyes, FT-5000, and Microham USB for cw and FSK. Took
several e-mails, and a couple of phone calls, but he got up and running
in time to put 100 Q's in the log for WPX RTTY. The next weekend he
logged over 1000 in the ARRL CW. He didn't bother setting up the .wav files
that Writelog can use to tell you what field you are in, dupes, mults,
error fields, etc., but for use with Jaws, I find the .wav files are
needed.
