Hi y'all,

No type 90 acceptance for this yet, and no US sellers yet, but there's a new dual band HT, the Baofeng UV-5R. It apparently has voice annunciation like the Wouxun has, and now it looks like they have versions that speak English. Around $60 will get you one. I'm thinking about getting one, you know, in the interest of public service to see how blind accessible it is. It sounds pretty similar to the Wouxun, 128 channels, all the usual sorts of things.
