Hi;
Haven't been totally keeping up with the handheld thread. Am I correct
that none of these thus far will speak the frequency? Although the menu
is nice what I'd really like spoken is frequency. This is especially
true if I have 25 repeaters in memory and have the inevitable senior
moment. Second do these new radios still use a cereal cable? Wonder if
there is some reason that companies haven't made the switch to usb?
Unfortunately my computer only has usb so a cereal to usb cable is on my
list of things to buy but I've heard that some work better than others.
  Anyone have a link to look at prices for some of these new radios? I
got the idea they weren't available from aes or hro.
Thanks
Also congratulations to the folks who just got their general tickets. enjoy
