I have the same samlex power supply in my go kit and have for years, you'll 
never hear anything from that, I've even run it with the antenna a couple 
feet away and not had any noise from it. Always good to check another power 
supply to eliminate it for sure, but I wouldn't go crazy over that 
possibility, that and the astron switching power supply I run everything off 
now I've never  had any noise off.
