Hi Tom,
Well pal, great idea!
I'd love to find out, but have no 2 meter capability either.
I'll tell you all why, and this was really something!
About a year and a half ago, on a Saturday night, I plugged my ht into the wall, it was a yaesu vx150. So, you can plug it into the wall because it has a wall wart!
Anyway, I didn't use it for a while, and when I came back to use it, it was dead, completely dead. Folks, it took a surge.
So much for plugging hts into the wall, huh?
