got the k3 last night, hooked it up to antennas and the hampod.
Great little piece of equipment. with its help, I resolved a problem with 
the internal tuner, and checked most other settings.
There will soon be a 590 with speech and high stability oscillator for sale.
Glad to have the k3 back.

Also, let's keep the hampod going.  So far, a great product.
