My old laptop was windows 7 64 bit and I use prolific USB to serial
converters all the time with no problem. What did that laptop in was the
hard drive let go so I'm back to actually an older one now but I never had a
problem with the prolific chipset with windows 7 or any other OS and I've
used a lot of them over the years for different things. As long as you have
the latest driver you should be fine and that's very easy to find.
