I'll definitely check out all connections, and the battery itself this 
week-end when I'm out at the RV again.

Regarding the antenna system failure, the screw-driver is fine.  It's the 
turbo-tuner that I use to tune the screw-driver that failed.

I don't think there's any correlation there, but since I don't have the 
tuner back yet from N2VZ Enterprises, after almost a year, I can't be sure 
on that.

Not getting the Turbo-tuner back from the manufacturer is a story for 
another e-mail, but suffice it to say, his "lifetime no matter what" 
guarantee is basically worthless.
