Has anybody seen a document detailing the RS-232
protocol that the Wouxun transceivers use?

I want to write a command line utility in Linux to
program them if possible.

Some serial protocols are easier to manage than others.
The one that Icoms of various flavors use is a little harder to
program for. I have been able to make an ICR75 receiver set or
clear a few functions but it was work.

I also have a Uniden BCD996 scanner and its serial
protocol can let you actually push buttons remotely and read the
display all be it you get pretty much all the display lines so
you either have to listen closely or write yourself a filter to
get rid of anything you don't want to hear.

So, if anybody has played with the Wouxuns on this
level, what is the serial interface like?
