Today while putting my fiancés at radio back on the charger, that she uses for Volger firefighters I was listening to the weather Channel. I was curious how the technology worked, and wanted to know if someone could explain it to me. As both this radio, and any of the UHF radios that were used in Alaska when everyone had one, the weather Channel voice was the same text-to-speech engine. I was curious if someone could let me know exactly how that technology worked, as well, as to what the voice is on the weather Channel. The radios in Alaska, but everyone had either in the car Colloc house, Orabelle, and the radio turn on channel that my fiancé uses as a volunteer firefighter don't have as I said the same voice on the weather Channel. It is just something that changed my mind when I was listening to it, and noticed that they put a missing person report on that as well. That's the first time that I have ever heard that. But, I'm not as into radios as I would like to be!
