Hi Linda,
Glad to have you on the list. We need a couple more XYL's on the list.
I'm in the process of studying for my Extra exam and, you are right, the
lectures from HandiHams are great. I plan to wait about another month of
studying before I take any more practice exams. The last one I took showed
me how much I still need to learn yet. I hope to be ready to take my exam
in late March or early April.
Hang in there.

Subject: the practice test are very special
Hi all,
I am amazed at how much I have learned in the past month. Wow!
I study a few days and take practice test. I have gotten better at the
answers. Then I study some more. LOL.
I am 54 years old and still impressed that I learned our microwaves run on
2.4 megahertz. I think this will stick in my memory the rest of my life.
I must send a compliment to the practice test site-as this and the audio
lectures by Pat Tice has been a great help to me.
I hope to be going to ham club meeting soon-and I was thinking of the handi
ham camp, but not sure if funds will allow this year.
I plan to make inquiries though.
Just thought I would also thank those of you who made suggestions regarding
types of accessible radios.
I will be reviewing these when I pass the technician's exam-which I hope to
take soon.
