I was able to complete the survey, but here are my comments for those of
you who may have had trouble.
Firstly, I noticed very long delays when loading a few pages. The delays
were in downloading images from VimeoCDN.com. I am on a university high
speed network, so the delay wasn't at my end. I couldn't interact with
the page until the images had finished downloading.
Secondly, I had to restart the survey because I did not answer the last
question on the first page, (what is your second language), and could not
convince the page to reload, or let me answer that question. The problem
is that they give the "other" edit box before they give the radio button
for "no second language", so I missed it.
This is the case in a few places, where the "other" option isn't the last
item on the list. In my experience, "other" is always the last selection.
I did find some of the questions a bit confusing since they were obviously
geared toward other disabilities, namely deaf or deaf-blind, but I didn't
want to not answer them since that caused me to have to restart the survey
the first time, and I didn't want to restart it again. It seemed that
with check boxes, you could ignore the question, but be sure that you make
a selection wherever there are radio buttons. That is reasonably standard.
