Hi eric, if you have a built-in mic you should be good to go!  Feel free to
give me a call if I can help you with getting started with Echo Link. 
There are a couple of settings that I always have people change, wich makes
it work better with screenreaders.  If you are using Window-Eyes, there even
a couple more that I can help you with.
