blake I'm originally from the d.c. area.  I know at least 3 2-meter 
repeaters near where you're going to be.  The 145.47 repeater in Arlington, 
the next one is 146.655 in ALexandria and the next is 147.315 also 
inAlexandria.  The sub audible tone for the 655 machine I believe is 114.8. 
I believe the 315 machine is still open but not sure.  It's been 6 years 
since I've been there.  I used to live in the Hyattsville area on the
