I think class 1 bluetooth has a bigger range, theoretically up to a hundred
meters.
I didn't realize that until six years ago when I saw an Optelec notetaker
with that kind of range claim.

300 feet with Bluetooth? unless things have changed since I last knew
that's almost impossible. Bluetooth was pretty low range last I knew.
