I totally agree with trying to save the money, but in some situations, there are time requirements for me to be on the air. I've got vacation coming up, and I don't have the time to save up, unfortunately, and I'm not gonna have another vacation not being on hf, since there is no other way for me to be on hf, and I've had plenty of those kind of vacations. However, if I did have the time to save, you bet I would, because it is the best way.

  Of course a few things to keep in mind.

  1. Always use a loan as your last resort because you are paying someone =
