cool.
the page doesn't really give good descriptions of what the K3 Reader will 
speak.
Does it only speak S-meter and frequency?  It does indicate that it will 
read menus and configuration settings as well as information from the 
display...so does that mean RF level, mike gain, ALC, swr, current, voltage, 
modulation, bandwidth, and all the stuff the K3 displays?

sounds like the metereader is going to be developed with a high end meter 
that has an RS232 output, which means the reader along with the meter will 
likely be a whole lot more expensive than the $65 cheapham wants for the tw2 
right now.
and of course, the elcraft swr dual cuppler will probably only work with the 
elcraft radios, meaning you have to have the radio as well as the accessory, 
in order for the metereader to work...along with the k3 reader as well.
All good stuff of course, but the LDG meters are stand alone and relatively 
on par price wize with other meters on the market.
