HI all,
Please, can we stop with the 73's?
We're suppose to be hams here, not chicken banders.
I'm not alone, when it comes to that, either.
A very well known ham, nationally, has this pet peeve as well, and I =
also do.
This is not cb, this is ham radio, and if you're gonna be a ham, talk =
the talk!

Subject: License Renewal?
Hi Howard,
This is Howard #3.
About 4 years ago I renewed my license on the FCC website and I didn't =
=3D
have=3D20
any trouble. There site is very accessible.
Before you can use their Universal Licensing System, you need to get =
an =3D
ID=3D20
number from them. This also can be done online and the number will =
be=3D20
e-mailed to you immediately.
If you are reasonably proficient at filling out forms online, this =
whole =3D
process can be completed in less than half an hour at most.
On a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (hard) this exercise is about a 3 in =
my=3D20
opinion.
The hardest thing is to figure out what website to go to.
If anyone is interested, I will look up the address and post it here.
If you are able to get an Amateur license than you are smart enough to =
=3D
renew=3D20
it independently.
