Tom, what is the crimp/solder tool? I have a crimp tool for crimping
connectors but I would like to know about the crimp/solder tool as I
might like to get one myself. Thanks,

FRED ADAMS W4HC

    John:

I ordered stripping tools for both RG8X and RG9913, a crimp/solder tool
for both kinds of coax, a handful of connectors, and two rolls of
"extreme tape"
to seal connections with. The "extreme" tape is similar to the butyl
tape I've been looking for around here but was unable to find.

The total for everything came to a little over $100, including shipping,
so I can't complain at all.

And, Joel said he'd talk me through anything I needed, once I started
trying out the stuff.

If anyone is interested in more detail, I'll pass along the product
numbers, once I get the order confirmation e-mail from Joel later this
afternoon.
