One big difference between the two radios is coverage.  The Kenwood covers 
everything from the MW broadcast band up through 800 MHz while the Wouxun 
doesn't cover anything below the FM broadcast band.  That might also explain 
the front-end overload with the Kenwood, although I've never had that 
problem with mine.
