That seems to be the trend. The fellow I mentioned had also picked up
a new or barely used Micro ham for a song.
I'm not using that setup myself, but he seems to do quite well with it.
He uses Window Eyes, and in a few months has over 170 countries on
digital, using MMTTY for RTTY and Digipan for psk.
If I remember right, this thing uses virtual com ports and once we got
everything talking to each other, it seems to work quite well, at least
with Window Eyes.
I had considered a Microham a while back, and while I didn't go that
way, I did run the software, and it seemed to work just fine with Jaws,
but of course not connected to real hardware.
