Tom,

Never did the 3830 thing, but at one time I subscribed to the 3830
e-mail list. Huge amount of traffic after big contests, and I dropped
it for that reason.

I think you know the contest calendar site:

http://www.hornucopia.com/contestcal/weeklycont.php

You can find links to each of the contests home pages and keep a check
on results. The big ones, like CQ and ARRL sponsered contests,
publish results almost a year after the contest, so they can publish
last year's results just prior to the upcoming event. State QSO
parties are a lot faster. PA QSO just released prelim results last
week for the Oct. 2011 contest. Virginia is very fast and has
certificates in the mail 3 or 4 months after the contest.

Just turned the rig on and looks like 10 is going to do something this
morning. Good luck if you operate.
