I wanted to share the recent update I received from L-Soft regarding email monitoring for hotmail and MSN domain users. The following is the message in its entirety:
If you are a subscriber to this listserv that uses one of these domains or knows someone who does, and have not been receiving postings to the group, please SEND me your emails to be added back.

Dear Jerreh,
 
Computer Operations has informed us that MSN.COM has lifted the 
restrictions that caused the delivery errors for your MSN.COM and 
HOTMAIL.COM subscribers.  You should be able to add these addresses back.
 
We take these issues very seriously, proactively work to resolve them as 
soon as possible and to discover any underlying causes in order to rectify 
them. 
 
Please note that such restrictions are intermittent by nature.  No Internet 
Service Provider (ISP) anywhere in the world is in any way *obligated* 
(legally, morally, or otherwise) to accept inbound e-mail from anyone else 
anywhere in the world.
 
How and why a specific message is, or is not, accepted by a mail system is 
completely up to the ISP.  Furthermore, ISPs are not required to publish 
their acceptance requirements.
 
That said, it would be a good idea to keep an eye on your Daily Error 
Monitoring Report.  If you start seeing many, or strange, errors, please 
forward the most recent report to us so that we may investigate.
