With complex issues such as this one it is generally best to get information from those at the front lines--the researchers. Last week I was fortunate to have extensive email correspondence with arsenic researchers at Dartmouth College. Some of their pragmatic wisdom is included in the arsenic and rice update available at the link at the beginning of this post.
