I personally don't know the answer but I have learned, over the 50 years 
plus of being a born again Christian, that a lot of people conceive their 
own doctrine and theology to fit what they think the Bible is saying.  quite 
frankly, the whole Bible is a big mystery to me but I still believe every 
word of it.
