The pros listed were and I quote "The plan tends to be low in  sodium and 
sugar, and the emphasis on fruit and vegetables makes it easy to meet  goals 
for dietary fiber."
 
The cons listed...."Meeting the recommended intake of many  nutrients is 
difficult. Dieters following this diet long term risk developing  nutrient 
deficincies, since entire food groups are eliminated. Long term effects  are 
not known."
