If I were you, I would correspond with Dr. Colin Champ about this.  He is a
radiation oncologist who is paleo and has been studying Ketogenic diets in
the treatment of cancer.  His web site is: http://www.cavemandoctor.com/
He has a podcast where he often critically examines "studies" concerning
diet and health, especially cancer.
