"We have lived in Panama for over 5 yrs now ... and love our life here ...   I eat a GF + DF + low sugar diet without much of a problem. Native foods tend not to be a problem as long as you stick to basics, like grilled meat instead of meats in sauces. ...[there are] markets like Organica, Kosher Deli Market in Multicentro, and Riba Smith - I even find some things at El Rey.   Being an international city, there are restaurants of every kind.  One of our favorites is Leno y Carbon, which is all over town and in the larger malls .
