Natural Food Works is getting organized to do CSA style fresh made
gluten/casein free food drops in the Bay Area and Sacramento.

This is very simple and direct. First, we just need an individual
willing to host a drop in exchange for $50 worth of product. Orders will be made available, just as in other CSA's, outside the home
in a cool, well shaded area. Subscribers will pre-pay, order
on-line, and then pick up their boxes with their name on it from the outside drop location.

Then we need people who would like to order product.

It's just like ordering groceries. Pasta, pizza, pie dough, bagels,
snadwich bread, cakes, dinner items, desserts, etc. All breads will be fresh
baked and we will offer seasonal baked goods (i.e. blueberry muffins w local organic blueberries) and entrees (grass fed beef stew, chicken pot pie, all =
organic chicken tamales, pizza, lasagna and baked ravioli with fresh tomato marinara come to mind. There will be lots
of variety.)

No-one would need to be at home for the drops to be picked up.

Frozen items would be in styrofoam boxes with ice packs and the
styrofoam box would need to be emptied and left and the drop site. The drop host
would make sure the styrofoam boxes were put out for pick-up at the time
of the next drop.

As soon as we find a drop host and some participants in your area,
we can begin deliveries. We could do weekly
drops so that everyone could get the freshest bread, or the drops
could be bi-weekly.

Here's a link to our (still embryonic!!) order form. Let us know
what you think!
