Dear Kitsap/Olympic Peninsula Branch Members,

Saturday, October 29th, 2011, will be our next meeting. Please note the
time for this event is: 10am - 11:30am at Bethany Lutheran Church on
Bainbridge Island. Their website is: _www.bethanyofbainbridge.org_
(http://www.bethanyofbainbridge.org) . (Note: this is a time change from previous emails.
There is no afternoon meeting.) You do not have to be a current member to
attend.

Please bring a potluck dish to share (with ingredients list, thank you). We
have a kitchen available and our branch will provide tea and coffee for
the meeting.

Cynthia Kupper, Executive Director for Gluten Intolerance Group, will be
speaking to us about setting up our governing structure, networking with
other GIG branches, support from the national GIG office, fundraising, and the
new GIG website.

It is extremely important that as many of you attend as possible. At this
time, we do not have officers or a Board of Directors. In order to be a
branch (or branches) of Gluten Intolerance Group, we will need to organize
appropriately. Additionally, we will be choosing a new, shorter name for our
branch that reflects our geographic region. All suggestions are welcome, so
come with your ideas!

Our branch already has cups, plates, forks, spoons, knives, napkins, and
cleaning supplies. Set up time is 9am. Clean up time is 11:30 am until noon.

Please bring your family and friends. It is so important that you spread
the word for this event!! This meeting will determine our future program in
GIG. Your ideas and commitment are deeply appreciated!

Remember, everyone is welcome to attend.

Warmest Regards,
Nancy Tietje
Peninsula Branch GIG
