Butch, did you tell them in writing that you were married?  That would be the
easiest thing if you've done it.

There are several things you can do.  Of course, you'll want to appeal this.
You can do it on your word and you can file for a hardship that paying back the
money would be monitarily and otherwise a hardship on you.

If you'd like, I can send you a copy of the Social Security manual.  You should
be aware that there are a lot of rules etc. that are there in addition to it so
the manual is really only a shell.
