Hi Angelo,
I took the entire band, from 28.000 all the way up to the top of the band, 29.700, and that's 1700 khz, so, half of that is 850 khz, so, 28.850 khz, right in the middle of the band.

How did you determine your frequency?
Did you work the repeaters as well?

Hi there,
Yep, I've used the HTX100, loved it.
It puts out 25 watts.
What we used was a CB moble mag mount antenna, cut to 28.850.

Good evening List:
I have been looking for a 10-meter rig to supplement the Kenwood = tmg707a
I
have here in the shack right now and I've got someone willing to sell = me
a
10-meter mobile. It is the Radio Shack HTX100. Has anyone had any
experience with this radio? Is it accessible? Would this one be a = good
investment? When I originally put my desire for a 10-meter rig out on = a
net
earlier in the week, I had said I was looking for a ht, but would also
consider a mobile rig. Any advice on this radio would be greatly
appreciated! Also, if anyone has any other 10-meter radio suggestions =
