Clarence,
I agree with what others have said in reply to your query. I have a Flex
1500 with a DJ Console and have been slowly writing some Jaws scripts for
it. I have the basic functions of the receiver working (band and mode
selection, AF and RF gain, and tuning) and have several fields from the
screen reading out when the value changes or by Jaws key sequence. But
there's a long way to go to get everything really fully accessible for a
blind ham using the DJ Console and screen reader. I haven't had as much
time as I would like which has slowed it all down. However, it's been fun
to do some scripting and try to create some basic accessibility for SDR
software.
If anyone else on the list wants to co-author the Jaws scripts, let me know.
Meanwhile, I'm seriously considering an Elecraft KX3 now that it's
available.

Subject: Question about sdr software.
Hi Folks
,
I am interested in software defined radio. I was wondering if anyone on =
the list is using any such radio. If so, what software are you using?

Clarence
