Scott,
I haven't finished reading it yet, and I've had the radio for more than a
year. I found it useful to braille a list of the menus and keep it as a
ready reference near the radio. Even though I remember the menus I use,
there are others which I hardly ever change, and therefore don't remember at
all. BTW, I've heard of several sighted hams who say they have to keep
manuals nearby or they'll be lost.
