I was poking around the WWW and looking at antenna articles. So, one referred to the ARRL Antenna book and pretty much said it was the book of books and all Hams should own a copy. grin
In any case I paraphrase , but it seemed the book is valuable. In any case I took a look at the ARRL site and see you can get your very own paper copy for $50, but wait there is more! For the low, low introductory price of $49.95 you can get the hardcover version with a CD that contains the entire book in a linked PDF. Oh boy, but hurry and act now while supplies last.
I also noticed you can get the ARRL Handbook for the same price with CD included. So, I was curious if anyone has purchased such and if it was a worthwhile investment. I did call the ARRL and ask why they would not consider offering the CD alone or even the PDF as an electronic download. I mean good grief why are they still printing books. grin
Ok, well I understand why they do, but nevertheless I wonder who I could write to in order to encourage consideration of offering anyone the electronic copy as an option. Surely it would save them money and offer greater flexibility to all Hams.
