Those new bulbs, the cheap ones anyway, have been responsible for a few 
fires as well when they over heat and explode. There was no fire, but in the 
apartment I was in for the last year and a half, the one in our bedroom did 
explode. It was in an enclosed bole though, so I just never touched it and 
we never used that light again.
