Well on the PL 259 cons. About a year ago or so I got a crimper and a
batch of cons. I have probably got 25 or 30 installed by now. I also
bought some cutters which don't crimp or flatten the center when cutting.
Also I bought a stripper which works wonderfully and it is very nice to only
have to solder the center conductor which is easy with a gun. I have six of
them outside and so far they work out okay. I accidently forgot to turn the
drive on the rig down two times and checking my meter was running over 2 K W
so something must be working okay. What I'm trying to say is I would forget
all the mess and crimp. 73
