Hi List,

I am resending this because I used the wrong format which on this ancient
server probably showed as gibberish to most recipients.

Hi List,

I haven't used my Kenwood TS 450 S radio in a few years. I turned it on the
other day to find that my speech volume is extremely low and that the
audible beeps for the mode buttons is somehow turned off. I never open the
rig. Assuming that something isn't broken internally, how do I adjust the
volume on the speech higher and how do I turn the audible beep function on?

Thanks for any help.

I say yes.
They ask me: "how happy are you?"
I say: "I'm as happy as a stowaway chimpanzee on a banana boat!"
