Tom, I've been involved with OMISS for a number of years. In fact, my
certificate number is 5290. They have 80, 40, 20, and 17 meter nets at
different times of the day.

When you make contacts there are specific requirements for different awards but
all require that you send in qsl cards (not online cards) for all of those
contacts to have them counted. Your qsls can be returned to you.

In order to be able to participate you have to be a member. Its not like the
HHH net where you have to work all 50 states to join. You just have to make two
contacts on any of the bands that they use, get the qsls, send in the
application with something like $8 and you're in. The fee is a one time and
when you join you'll receive a certificate number. They're up in the seven
thousands now.

Tom
