Dave, from the tuner going through the floor is lmr 400 going to the balun,
Which is under my house.
From the balun is open wire with spacers keeping the wires about 4 inches
apart.
The wire is then ran up to the feed point off of my tower.
I have good luck with this arrangement a balun is the trick to keep it
working like it should.
I can't remember right off hand if the guy that put it up there used a 4 to
1 balun or 1 to 1 balun.
Does this info help?

Junior,

I have a question regarding your loop. How are you feeding it? Are you
using open wire line, coax, or a combination of the two? If you can
elaborate it would be great.
