Well, these shack descriptions are interesting.
Mine is an "l" shaped room about 12 feet long by 9 feet wide.
The door is at one end. On the right is a couch and at the end of this is the back of a cupboard, full of all sorts of
junk. Going round this and on the far wall is a bench which covers the far end wall and the wall on the left of the
room.
The bench on the far end wall is taken up with a couple of computers, one running xp and the other linux. There is an
hp laserjet printer and a scanner and the keyboards on the bench and the computers are slotted in to compartments
underneath.
Above the bench are two shelves running the width of the room containing some junk of various sorts, hard drives and
caddies and the like as well as some books and files.
The bench on the left of the room is the radio area.
On the left end, which is pushed up against a filing cabinet, is a ts-820. Beneath the ts-820 is a home built ballanced
atu with the tw1 and a tuning aid sharing the shelf. Below this is the linear which is a linear amp uk challenger with
2 3cx800a7's.
Next to the ts820 is an icom ic-775. Next to that is an icom ic-7800. There is nothihng underneath, a space is the
shelving to sit at.
Above the bench is another shelf containing the icom ic-910 and kenwood tmd-700.
Going right is an old kw2000e with a kw1000 amp on the shelf below the bench.
To the right of this is a kw2000b and a 12v supply beneath.
There are a couple of mics and a bencher paddle.
Should have a clear out really.
Next to the filing cabinet is another cupboard with yet more junk.
The hf aerial is a 200 foot doublet fed with open wire feeder. I have some vhf beams to go up but waiting for some help
with them. I have a long 9 ele beam for 2 metres and a couple of 21 ele's for 70cm.
