I’ve written for help before, and again am asking for your experiences.
My brother has been suffering from what they believe to be Small Fiber Neuropathy for over a year. He has, at times, extreme pain in his extremities and stomach. At other times, it’s not major pain, but still present.
They’ve tried different medications, and IVIG to treat the condition, without a lot of relief.
His doctor has suggested a variety of other attacks to eliminate his pain, with one being going gluten free. I must mention, our mother has Celiac Disease, so he has a family history.
He’s been gluten free for about a month, and not finding any relief yet.
He and his wife have asked me to send this out asking if you’ve dealt with this, and if so, how, and how long did it take for you to find relief. They’re also wondering if going dairy and corn free is necessary to find relief.
Any relevant responses would be appreciated.
Gloria
