oh yes tony did a great job with i t, i still have a dos version of i
t, and also have the source code for some other one. its gr3eat to
look at the calculations that have to be made to track a bird. do
you remember the 145.890 group on oscar 13? we use to get some huge
round tables going there, some times we had asia and europe u.s.
canada mexico and africa all on the freq at the same time. we also
had also had some pins made to wear when you went to a
convention. kl7grf and i started the group and it just kept
growing. i worked 220 countries on oscar 13 a lone and waz as
well. had a pair of 4cx's on the uplink and a pair of 22c's on the
downlink. had 400 watts on 2m and 200 watts on 435mhz. never got
into mode l, a, b, j and mode s on ao40. also used the set up for
some moon bouncing, managed to work several stations on 2m eme. oh
well old memories smile. now i just work 160m to 6m and thats
enough. take care, c u mike w6quv
