I've had all three of them and the II is the best.  Mine works, sort of.  I 
didn't know that the III's were still available.

I recently bought a CC E.P which hears pretty well but seems to be prone to 
overload.

I don't know about the availability of the Ge Super 2 but the Super 3 can be
had new.  I don't have any web sites that you can check but a search of
Google would I'm sure yield good results.

The Super 2 has been discontinued a few years back in favor of the 3.  The 3
is a good radio but there is a good consensus of people that think the 2 was
a better dx machine.
