Just wondering how the antenna project is coming along.  I hope you aren't
having too many difficulties.  

It's cold here and windy, but no snow.  Hope the weather holds out for you.

Every radio I've ever checked with the internal tuner, regardless of brand,
the power drops about that much with the internal tuner. It seemed a lot
better with the older motorized tuners, but with the relay tuners internal,
it seems to always drop about 15-20 watts depending on band.
