Tom,
Since we're thinking of migrating away from 71.85, why not consider moving
up the band even further, say anywhere from 7191 to 721;. We may encounter
some BC stations, but at that time of day they may still not be a big
problem.
With regard to suspending the net, I'd say let's keep it informally open,
and leave it at that.
