Hi;
Sorry to change the subject line but I think it is a more general
problem. Talked with a friend that got me interested in ham radio back
in 1966 and he tells me he has pretty much given up on hf. He could
come up with an army of volunteers but between street light noise
problems with x box and other consumer toys that aren't all that well
shielded he has pretty much thrown in the towel. I have been leaning in
that direction but it stinks to give up. I think he comes up with his
workers primarily by going out for a few brews with the boys. He's been
on forever and I'd love to have his cw skill. He has is own repeater on
440 but the work is done by others.
